Beers and Banter, June 24, 2021

I was honored to speak in a panel discussion about painting in Jackson Hole for the Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum’s ‘Beers and Banter’ program. With artists Katy Ann Fox and Greta Gretzinger, and historian and author Lester D. Taylor, we shared our individual experiences working and creating in the Tetons and discussed the flourishing art scene and how it has changed over time.

 
 

‘From Cow Town to Art Town’ - First Western Trust

On March 9th, 2020, right before the corona virus hit town, I was honored to give an illustrated talk to clients of First Western Trust tracing the history and development of Jackson Hole into an ‘art mecca’ and the ‘5th largest art market in the US’.

‘Diary of a Dudine’

My first published article in the Jackson Hole News and Guide is about my great-grandmother’s memoir chronicling her elk-hunting trip in Jackson Hole in 1916, age 20. It was discovered by a family member at the Jackson Hole Historical Society and continues to inspire me today.

 

Art Association Lecture

It was fun morning discussing trends in the global art market and the development of Jackson Hole as an ‘art mecca’ at the Art Association on September 5th, 2019.

 

Missing Roy Kerswill Mural

A chance meeting on the chairlift with the owner of the Alpenhof Lodge led to this article in the Jackson Hole News and Guide about a Teton Village mural’s mysterious disappearance.
